Hal Jordan must use his wits to escape Gammora Island after stealing back his drained power ring, while Carol Ferris is sent on a mission from the Tower of Fate to seek out other heroes only to discover a new Lantern of Sorrow in Green Lantern #14. John Stewart and his allies fight the last of the Radiant Dead in hopes of returning to Earth to help his mother against the Star Shroud in Green Lantern: War Journal #12. Wonder Woman and Robin Damien Wayne take turns trying to get the location of Amanda Waller's Prison out of Captain Boomberang in Wonder Woman #12. Nightwing discovers that Robin Tim Drake has setup his own resistance group separate from the one that Dick and Babs setup. This Week on Earth Station DCU! Drew Leiter and Cletus Jacobs are blissful. Ras Al Ghul tries to take over Damien Wayne's body when his own has failed him in Boy Wonder #4. Batman and Catwoman team-up to steal a device critical to Amanda Waller's plans, but run into trouble with a team called the Suicide Squad in Batman #151. The Birds of Prey escape the Dino-World by going through the portal only to become cartoon versions of themselves in Birds of Prey #12. Freddy claims to be King of the Surface World to try and broker a peace with King Kull and the Submen, meanwhile Billy is refusing to become the Captain and comes across a boy in a toga who tells him its the end of the world in Shazam #14. The Amazo Robot Jadestone tries to capture Alan Scott and fails. When Jadestone arrives at the Tower of Fate, Alan Scott surrenders himself so the JSA can escape in Absolute Power: Task Force VII #3. In the aftermath of Amanda Waller's victory, the metahumans of the DC universe have been depowered and scattered. Any heroes not rounded up have retreated to Superman's Fortress of Solitude where they will soon learn is not a safe haven in Absolute Power #2.
